4 reasons you need a day-of coordinator

Day-of Coordinators are one of the most valuable vendors you can have on your team in the lead up to and on your wedding day. And while it's not a service I provide myself specifically, it's a service I think is so worthwhile and I refer couples to other vendors on the regular.

But how do you know if you need one? Check out 4 reasons to hire one below:

✨ They'll handle the details

It's more than likely that you're gonna be planning a wedding while working full time or studying - or both. They'll handle the stressful and overwhelming tasks for you - and this is gonna leave you feeling relaxing and preparing for your day as the most chill bride in the world 😍

✨ It'll save friendships

Yep, it may be easier to ask a friend or family member to help you out with a few things on the day so you don't have to worry about it. But they won't have a comprehensive back-up plan should something go wrong - like a vendor no-show. A coordinator will have a contingency plan for this exact situation and will most likely have a list of back-up vendors available that she can call at the last minute if this happens! Let your family and friends enjoy your special day as guests 😍

✨ They'll provide reassurance

Coordinators have done this kind of job before - it's why they're the professionals! They'll be able to let you know if you've missed any details and reassure you that you're on the right track and everything's in place.

✨ You’ll be able to be present and stress-free on your wedding day

You don’t want to be answering calls and fielding questions from left, right and centre on your wedding morning, while trying to get your hair and makeup done, and enjoy the time with your girlfriends and family. Do you really want to fight fires as you’re in the car on the way to your ceremony? Or queries while you’re off getting those magical photos with your new husband?! Of course not! Save yourself the stress and overwhelm and hire a fairy godmother!
